Winter Mint

Collection: Limited Edition- Seasonal
Wax: Soy and Coconut
Throw: Strong

Imagine all the good things of winter: earmuffs, cashmere sweaters, hot cocoa, ice sculptures, freshly fallen snow, ect. Now take out the cold and wet aspects of that and you have the pure seasonal beauty of the Winter Mint candle. The scent notes are very simple for this one: pure mint.  You want a thing of simple mint beauty? You got it.

The throw of this candle is strong and far reaching, even unlit. Once lit, it does a beautiful job of making the room smell like a winter wonderland. I’ve always found the scent of mint to be a soother and it’s no wonder, considering mint has long been used to soothe an upset stomach or nerves in medieval herbology. I keep this candle next to my work station in case I am feeling stressed and it’s sweet, mint smell works like a weighted blanket upon my frayed nerves. One unexpected bonus of this candle is that it mixes beautifully with other scent profiles. I love to combine Winter Mint with other candles; it goes well with stronger, muskier scents like my Black Death candle by Werther & Grey and balance woods-y heavy scents like my Odin’s Daughter Co. Viking Spirit.

Winter Mint has become the definitive mint scent that I have started comparing all mint candles to. I really crave this candle’s freshness and fingers crossed that by the time seasonal scents come around again, I can bring in my glass tumblers and have them refilled at Witchie Wick’s HQ. Do you have any mint scented candles that you love?
